Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Turkey Climate Control Council, in coordination with the Mechanical Engineers Chamber and the Turkish Plumbing Engineers Association, eight sections of the Machinery General Design Technical Specification of the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, which was prepared in a period of over three years with the intensive follow-up and work of sectoral associations and expert engineers in our country, were published in the Official Gazette dated January 19, 2020 and numbered 31013. Work is underway for the remaining sections. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Climate Control Council held its second workshop in İzmir, hosted by İzmir Chamber of Commerce, as part of the preparations for the Climate Control Strategy Document. ​

The Central Anatolia E-Export Conference was held by the World E-Commerce Forum (Worldef) at TOBB University of Economics and Technology in cooperation with the Association of Industrialists and Businessmen (TUMSIAD) and Webolizma.​

Faik Yavuz, Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), attended the Added Value Future Leaders Award Ceremony organized by Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce (ETO).​

Capacity Report Appraiser Training was conducted at TOBB, which is mandatory for those who will be assigned to organize capacity report from the appraisers listed in the Chamber Appraiser lists. 36 expert engineers from 20 Chambers participated in the Appraiser Training. In the capacity report appraiser training organized on the requests of chambers, participants received training from experts of TOBB Industrial Directorate regarding the definition, history of, and areas in which Capacity Reports are used; the contents of the report; the meaning of the standard texts in the report; how to fill the required areas; capacity principles and capacity criteria, as well as issues to be considered in practice. ​

Russian Trade Representative in Turkey Aidar Gashigullin and newly appointed Russian Export Center Representative Radik Gimatdinov visited the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and met with TOBB Secretary General Mustafa Saraçöz. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Board Treasurer Faik Yavuz attended the India Investment Seminar hosted by the Indian Embassy in Ankara.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Deputy Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş participated in the Electronic Notification Promotion Program organized at Sheraton Ankara Hotel with the attendances of Justice Minister Abdulhamit Gül and Transport and Infrastructure Minister Cahit Turhan. ​

The 7th OIZ Energy Summit, organized by the Organized Industrial Zones Parent Organization (OSBUK) took place at the JW Marriott Hotel in Ankara with the attendances of Energy and Natural Resources Minister Fatih Dönmez and Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Automotive Trade Council, chaired by Mahmut Özgener, TOBB Board Member responsible for the Council, convened at the TOBB Istanbul Service Building to elect the Parliamentary Presidential Council and make the general evaluation of the sector.​
