Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The TOBB delegation headed by Tamer Kıran, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of TOBB, visited T.R. Ambassador to Pretoria K. Nilvana Darama Yıldırımgeç in Cape Town, where they visited to attend the B20 South Africa Kick-off Meetings. During the meeting, which was also attended by Cape Town Consul General Yonca Sunel, potential areas of trade and economic cooperation between Türkiye and South Africa were evaluated. ​

Mustafa Bayburtlu, Deputy Secretary General of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), met with Berna Xhafa and Ayşegül Seydan, Founding Member and Vice President of Kosovo- Türkiye Investors Chamber (KTYO). During the meeting, Türkiye-Kosovo trade and economic relations and cooperation opportunities were discussed.​

The Leadership Camp, organized since 2011 by the Industry and Productivity Society, one of the student clubs of TOBB ETU, was held at TOBB ETU Social Facilities.​

The number of newly established companies, the number of cooperatives and the number of sole proprietorships decreased by 12,8% 11,2% and 12,5% respectively according to the previous month.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Automotive Trade Council convened under the chairmanship of Dr. Hayri Erce, President of the Council, with the participation of Şekib Avdagiç, TOBB Vice Chairman in charge of the Council, and Tuncay Yıldırım, TOBB Board Member. After the opening speeches at the meeting, a plaque was presented to Yüksel Mermer, who has been the President of the Council for many years.​

The fifth meeting of TOBB Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Board (KGK) Eastern Anatolia Region was held at Bingöl Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted by TOBB Bingöl KGK.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Medical Assembly meeting was held under the chairmanship of Levent Mete Özgürbüz, President of the Sector Assembly, with the participation of Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ayar, President of the Turkish Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency (TİTCK) and Eray Kaplan, Vice President of the Agency.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Board Member M. Cihat Lokmanoğlu attended the BIAC (Business at OECD / OECD Employer and Industry Advisory Committee) General Assembly online in a hybrid format. ​

“Informative Meeting on TOBB's Institutional Structure and Activities” was held on Friday, 14.02.2025 under the coordination of TOBB Training and Quality Directorate for the newly recruited staff within the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB). ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) E-Commerce Assembly meeting was held in Ankara chaired by Assembly President Ozan Acar and Assembly Vice President Senem Aslan Yavaş with the attendances of TOBB Board Members Selçuk Öztürk and İbrahim Burkay, TOBB Deputy Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş, Deputy General Manager of Product Safety and Inspection Mehmet Halil Madazlı and Head of Department Sezen Leventoğlu, Deputy General Manager of Import Önder Duman, General Directorate of Domestic Trade Electronic Trade Department Head Çağatay Yasin Karaboğa, Exemptions and E-Commerce Customs Transactions Department Head Deniz Okan Savaş, Digital Trade, Services and Investment Department Head Çiğdem Koşan and European Union Customs Legislation Compliance Department Head Talip Engin Kaya and Assembly members.​
