Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Turkey Climate Control Council convened under the presidency of Council President Zeki Poyraz. The meeting discussed domestic air quality and what can be done in this regard. Poyraz provided information about the topics expressed on behalf of the Turkey Climate Control Council at the TOBB Economic Summit, which was hosted by TOBB with the participation of Treasury and Finance Minister Berat Albayrak. ​

The June meeting of the Turkey Natural Gas Council was held under the chairmanship of İbrahim Akbal with the participation of TOBB Vice President Selçuk Öztürk. Important developments for the sector were evaluated at the meeting.​

Ministry of National Education (MEB) Deputy Minister Mahmut Özer and Vocational and Technical Education General Director Kemal Varin Numanoğlu held with a meeting participants from MEB, TOBB and TOBB ETU to evaluate the work carried out in project schools in 81 provinces during the training period within the scope of the Vocational Education Cooperation Protocol.​

The Tax Advisory Council of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey convened via video conference under the chairmanship of Council President Fatih Dural with the participation of TOBB Board Member Zeki Kıvanç.​​

The Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI), of which the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu is Vice President, organized a webinar on the, “Normalization process in the Economy After COVID-19 of Asia-Pacific Countries,” in cooperation with the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (FICCI).​

The second meeting of the General Secretaries/CEOs of the National Chambers of EUROCHAMBRES member states, the first of which was held in Brussels on December 6, 2019, was held via video conference.​

EUROCHAMBRES Vice President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, EUROCHAMBRES Vice President Ian Talbot, Georgia Chamber of Commerce President Georgi Pertaia and Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce Board Member Georg Stoev co-chaired the Global European Committee meeting.​

The Retail Council of the Union of Chambers and Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) convened via video conference with the participation of TOBB Board Member Cengiz Günay under the chairmanship of Council President Alp Önder Özpamukçu.​

Turkish-Kazakh Chamber of Commerce and Industry Forum Turkish Side Meeting was held online under the chairmanship of Fettah Tamince, Co-Chair of the Turkish-Kazakh Chamber of Commerce and Industry Forum.​
