Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Within the scope of the Chamber / Exchange Accreditation System studies, Process Management and Risk Management Training for accredited 10th-13th Term Chambers / Exchanges was held at the Union headquarters on 1-2 October 2024.​

Hakan Ülken, Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye, attended the 2nd Business Forum organized on the margins of the 3rd Summit of the Asian Cooperation Dialogue in Doha, the capital of Qatar, on October 2, 2024.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Tax Advisory Board convened via video conference on October 1st, 2024 under the chairmanship of Fatih Dural, Chairman of the Board.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) participated in the Erasmus+ Central Projects Information Day organized under the leadership of the Turkish National Agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Directorate for EU Affairs and hosted by the İstanbul Trade Center, and a presentation was made on the EULEP (Vocational Excellence Centers) project carried out by TOBB.​

Energy Security and Exchange Seminar was organized in cooperation with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and the Embassy of Canada in Ankara.​

The second of the Industry Capacity Report Information Meetings was held at the TOBB Conference Hall on September 28, 2024 with a wide participation.​

The 5th Turkish-German JETCO meeting was held in Berlin on Friday, September 27, 2024 with the participation of German Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Climate Robert Habeck and Minister of Trade Prof. Dr. Ömer Bolat.​

An informative meeting was held for the newly recruited staff of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) about the institutional structure and activities of TOBB with the coordination of TOBB President Advisor Hasan Çağlayan Dündar and the cooperation of TOBB Training and Quality Manager Nükhet Kuş.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Apparel and Ready-to-Wear Council Meeting was held in İstanbul with the participation of TOBB Board Member İbrahim Burkay and under the chairmanship of Council President Şeref Fayat.​

Within the scope of the Chamber / Exchange Accreditation System studies, this year, 3-8-11-14th Term Accredited Chambers / Exchanges, which will be carried out document renewal audits from the New Accreditation Standard, and 15-16th Term Chambers / Exchanges, which will be accredited for the first time, were given detailed information about the standard requirements before their audits. Audits are planned to start at the end of October.​
