Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Within the framework of the provisions of the Domestic Goods Communiqué (SGM 2014/35) prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Technology in accordance with Article 63 of the Public Procurement Law No. 4734 and entered into force after being published in the Official Gazette dated September 13, 2014 and numbered 29118, 1,180 Domestic Goods Certificates were approved by TOBB in June 2024. In June 2024, there was a decrease of 5.4% (68 units) compared to June of the previous year. 1,148 of the Domestic Goods Certificates approved in June 2024 are active in the system.​

The delegation headed by Li Gang, Deputy Executive Director of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Demonstration Area Delegation (SCODA) of the People's Republic of China, was hosted by Tamer Kıran, Vice President of the Board of Directors of TOBB, at the TOBB İstanbul Office.​

TOBB Vice President Şekip Avdagiç met with a delegation of business people headed by Ambassador Jerzy Drodzy, Chief Advisor to the President of the Polish Chamber of Commerce. During the meeting, they exchanged views on Türkiye-Poland economic and trade relations. ​

The second of the TOBB Young Entrepreneurs Council Eastern Black Sea Regional Meetings was held at the Ordu Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted by Emrah Baş, President of the TOBB Ordu Young Entrepreneurs Council Executive Committee.​

The number of industrial capacity reports approved in the first 6 months of 2024 decreased by 2.9% compared to the same period last year.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Furniture Products Assembly convened under the chairmanship of TOBB Board Member Saim Özakalın.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Tourism Assembly Meeting was held in Ankara under the chairmanship of Erkan Yağcı, Chairman of the Assembly, and Müberra Eresin, Vice Chairman of the Assembly, with the participation of TOBB Board Members Hakan Ülken and Ali Çandır, who are responsible for the Assembly.​

With the participation of TOBB Council Member Işınsu Kestelli, TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council President Nurten Öztürk and TOBB KGK Supreme Council Members, the third TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council Supreme Council Meeting was held online.​

Marmara Sea Action Plan Coordination Board 4th Meeting was held at Dolmabahçe Working Office under the chairmanship of Mehmet Özhaseki, Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Women Entrepreneurs Council Aegean Regional Meeting was held online for the second time.​
